Rogan and Justin's Plan

"Tam has lost his friggin' mind!"

"You don’t have to tell me twice, J."

Rogan ran his hand through his hair while he gazed into the mirror of the men's bathroom. Justin zipped up his pants and flushed the urinal against the wall.

Wandering over to the sinks, he turned one on, pumping some soap into his hand. "I don’t think he's going to listen to his orders."

"What do you mean?" Rogan glanced at Justin with a raised brow.

"I mean that he's going to kill Noah."

"What makes you think that?"

Justin sighed loudly as he ripped two paper towels out of the dispenser. "Haven't you seen him ranting around the compound? It's almost as if he were ready to shift and kill us all."

Rogan chuckled. "Isn’t he always that way?"

"Well . . . yeah . . . but this time, it's worse!" Justin turned away to toss his trash in the bin.

"He’s just pissed that Noah got the better of him, that's all."

"You mean WE got the better of him, Wolfe. We were the ones who helped Noah escape! What's Tam going to do when he finds out?"

"He won't find out. Not if we don't tell him. So keep your yap shut, kid."

At that moment, Rogan's cell phone rang, echoing throughout the bathroom. Flipping it open, he answered. "Rogan here . . . . Oh? Where? Uh huh . . . Are you sure? Okay. We'll be there."

"Who was that?" Justin wanted to know.

"That was Tam. The local police have found Noah. He wants us to get our asses on the road and meet him somewhere on the highway."

"Christ, Rogan, we can't let Tam catch him!"

"No shit," Rogan said with an irritated sigh. "You're good with computers, right?"

"I like to think so."

"Can you make it look like vehicle 37 is still in the bay?"

"Does a bear shit in the woods?" Justin said with a chuckle. "What are you planning, Wolfe?"

"We're gonna give our friend the help he needs to get away from that bastard. You with me?"

Justin looked giddy. "Hell yeah!"

"Good. Let’s go stick it to the man."

Experiment #75 Log ~ Agent Tam

I have found the traitor's cave. His stink permeated the air and it was evident he'd only left it a few minutes before. There was another scent mixed with his; the woman. And now, I cannot get her smell out of my head. It has bewitched me. I want nothing more than to claim her for my mate. Knowing she's with him makes my blood boil.

They managed to elude me, but I will find them, wherever they may go, and I'll make the traitor watch as I take her in front of him. I will bring her back to B.E.A.S.T. and the scientists will make her a panther, just as I am.

And there isn't a damn thing Noah Carpenter can do to stop me. He'll be reprogrammed, mind-wiped, and he'll never remember her.

But they have stolen a car, a tan Acura, and changed it's plates. I have a good idea where the traitor is going. And with my best agents, Rogan and Justin to help me, we'll find the bastard. It's only a matter of time.

Hallelujah!

Well folks, I've finally finished the first book of my B.E.A.S.T. series! I'm so excited, you have no idea. This book is going to print, which means it will be available on Amazon and other online book retailers, AND it will be available for bookstores to order.

SAHWEET!!!

I do have to say, that this book ends on a cliffhanger, so y'all will be drooling to get the next one! :D But I'm so glad to have it finished before my deadline. I was really sweating it for awhile. But hey, looks like everything is on the up and up; watch for this book in October from Champagne Books!

YEEHAW!!

Four Grand to Go

I'm happy to report that I have about 4K left to write on the first B.E.A.S.T. book before it's finished! Yay! That shouldn't take me too long to write, considering I've been writing an average of 2K a day for about a week and a half now. What can I say, I'm just flowing with inspiration!

I love writing this book, but I have to say, I cannot wait until it's done and out of my hands for edits. I want to have time to be able to sit back and relax... Until my December 1st deadline for B.E.A.S.T. of Burden. :P Of course, that's not for months yet, so I'll probably take this summer and finish up a couple of other MS's that need my attention. But I have the second book of this series brainstormed, and a good idea of where I'm going with the third one.

All three heroes have been introduced in this book, and I think I'm going to tell the "rest" of Noah and Lanie's story throughout the other two, as they'll also be secondary characters. Remember, the end of this story is merely the beginning of the series, so Noah and Lanie's story won't "end". Their love story will, because hey, they have an HEA (Or do they?? lol) But trying to get away from B.E.A.S.T. can't be done in one book.

Sooo... Anywho, I gotta get back to writing. You're gonna love this book! :D

I'm so close to being done I can taste it!

I don't have much further to go! This book is almost in the bag!

Wow, you can't believe how many surprises there were for ME to find in this book. As a rule, I like to know where a book is going. I jot down notes and have a general idea of where I'd like to end up. Well, these characters have grabbed the tiger by the tail, :P, and demanded to write the book "their" way. LOL

Let me tell ya, at first I was worried about my deadline, wondering if I'd be able to get the word count up. Now here I am, reaching my word count goal, and wondering if I'll be able to wrap things up before the deadline. Hehehe, funny how things turn out.

I guess with a story about genetically altered shape shifters, the government conspiracy is a given. :P

The Final Stretch

Well, here we are, the beginning of May. This is the last month I have to finish the first book in this B.E.A.S.T. series. June 1st is my deadline, and I've been writing like mad! LOL I'm a little nervous about it, but I should be fine. Last time I was freaking out over a deadline, I turned the book in three weeks early. :P I doubt that will happen this time. I have a feeling I'll need EVERY day this month to get this baby out. I'm excited, tho, because this first book is going into Champagne's print program! Woohoo! :D

So if you don't see many updates from me, it's because I'm furiously trying to get this book out the door! But keep checking back, as I plan on doing a lot more fun things before October! :D This book is so awesome, you guys have no idea. I just finished a love scene and whew! I thought my computer was going to overheat! LOL Not to mention the cool action and the super-delicious bad guy! Have no fear, I intend to tell you guys all about Tam. He's sexy, dangerous, and not all right in the head. :P

Anyhow, gotta get to writing!
